Diagnosed issue with auxiliary heat running unnecessarily due to improper temperature threshold configuration. Adjusted outdoor temperature setpoint from 70°F to 40°F to enable proper heat pump operation above 40°F, eliminating reliance on auxiliary heat during moderate temperatures. System now functioning correctly with appropriate staging sequence.
