Performed diagnostic inspection on non-operational Trane furnace (2005). Identified two critical issues: gas valve was stuck closed/faulty and confirmed heat exchanger has developed a crack (visible corrosion along seam). Informed homeowner that unit requires either complete furnace replacement or heat exchanger replacement to restore proper operation and ensure safety.
