Responded to customer complaint of odor in basement bedroom suspected to be coming from recently replaced furnace/AC units. Upon inspection, determined the smell is not originating from HVAC system. Observed normal operation of furnace with no unusual conditions that would produce odors. Documented frost buildup on evaporator coil which will require separate maintenance but is unrelated to reported smell. Advised customer the odor issue is likely due to moisture infiltration or pest activity requiring different professional services.
