Responded to emergency no-heat call for 2-year-old Lennox furnace. Diagnosed issue as frozen exhaust on roof with cracked concentric vent causing exhaust recirculation through intake. Restored heating by clearing ice blockage from exhaust and temporarily modified system by cutting off intake above furnace to draw air from mechanical room. Furnace now operational; recommended replacement of concentric vent or conversion to two-pipe system.
