Diagnosed furnace showing 8-12 solid red lights with operational failure shortly after startup. Investigation revealed blower motor not activating, causing system to trip on high limit switch. Testing confirmed the control board failed to send voltage to blower motor even when receiving proper thermostat signals. Replaced defective control board to restore proper heating function.
