Responded to furnace short cycling complaint. Found inducer filled with water due to improper coupling angle causing air lock before drainage. Repositioned inducer coupling downward and adjusted vinyl tubing connection to improve drainage. Additionally diagnosed erratic thermostat behavior at setpoint; replaced thermostat which resolved irregular cycling issues. System now properly maintaining temperature and shutting off appropriately at setpoint.
