Performed comprehensive tune-ups on two furnaces in newly purchased property. First unit (older, smaller) was functioning properly with clean filter and blower, clear routine lines, and intact heat exchanger. Second unit (newer, larger) showed signs of secondary heat exchanger leakage; adjusted furnace pitch by an additional 1/8 inch to correct the issue. Both systems demonstrated proper operation during 15-minute test runs with appropriate temperature rises (70° and 60° respectively). Recommended AC inspection in spring.
