Investigated reported ceiling water stains in living room. Performed thorough inspection of upstairs bathroom plumbing and ceiling cavity but found no active leaks. Determined stains likely resulted from one of three causes: HVAC condensation, inadequate bathroom ventilation causing humidity buildup, or water spillage from children's baths. Advised client that sheetrock repair will be required by a specialist.
