Responded to no-heat call for furnace. Observed system attempting normal ignition sequence but failing to light. Detected gas odor in home. Inspection of LP tank revealed it was completely empty. Notified homeowner that LP delivery is required for system to operate. Furnace appears to be in normal working condition and should function properly once fuel is supplied.
