Homeowner had that on today because the system is not cooling properly. Upon arrival, homeowner informed us that he has had numerous Brown out Recently and he’s also noticed that whenever the air-conditioning unit kicks on the lights flicker. There is a York package unit from 2017. We noticed that both of the capacitors for the compressor and outdoor fan motor were worn and one was completely dead. We also tested the starting amps for the compressor and notice that they were almost 10amps higher than the maximum starting amps for the unit. We also noticed that the outdoor coil was dirty and recommended a clean as well. Homeowner approved to have all repairs made. After repairs are made we test it for proper operation. System is cooling at time of departure.
