Performed diagnostic on 10yr old Goodman unit, upon arrival customer stated unit wasn’t working properly the last 3 days, stated it would cool for a couple hours then they wouldn’t be able to feel any airflow, customer stated the replaced filter Wednesday, previous filter was heavily impacted , checked both tstats, cycled to access mode, unit started up, went to attic and inspected furnace, did see filter was recently replaced, old filter was still in attic which could have caused unit to start freezing, secondary drain pan was dry with no water, checked blower capacitor, found below specs 12.5/7.8, recommend replacing capacitor, blower wheel impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning blower wheel, checked zone board and both dampers, inspected outdoor unit, found condenser impacted, recommend chemical cleaning condenser coil, checked capacitor, contactor, checked amp draws, compressor is pulling high amps , and over amping on start up RLA 14.1/10.7 LRA 77/90.8, recommend hard start kit,
