During our visit, the homeowner mentioned that there was an issue with the hall bathroom toilet. Upon arrival, the tenant showed me to the bathroom. I noticed the leak was coming from the bottom of the toilet tank. The fill valve gaskets failed causing water to drip down onto the floor. Also noticed that the shutoff valve was not working. Multiple estimates were provided and discussed with the homeowner. An estimate was approved and work began. A new Kohler Kingston toilet was installed in the hall bathroom. The old multi turn valve was replaced with a quarter turn. A new steel braided supply line was added as well. These repairs were tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Upon removing the old toilet, I noticed an offset toilet flange was installed. A flange spacer was installed on top of the flange. The customer is now aware of this.
