Customer called us out due to system continuously running. Found burnt up electrical disconnect. Advised to customer she will need to replace the disconnect due to pullout being melted shut inside disconnect. Opened up the system and found blower and heat strips constantly running. Pulled power off fan relay board and found blower did stop. This indicates to me we have a stuck closed relay inside the control board. After diagnostic on why the fan constantly ran needed to figure out why heat strips ran. Found stuck closed relay for heat strips feeding it power and constantly running. Highly recommended to stop issue from happening we will need to replace heater kits and fan relay board. During diagnostic found heavily Impacted blower wheel. Highly recommend customer have install supervisor out due to high cost of repair as well as age of system being 19 years old. Did reach out to Goodman for parts and they let us know heat strip kit is longer available for this system.
