My client has a few toilets with worn tank internals and a high water bill. The water meter is on the inside of the home near the PRV and main shutoff. Shut off toilets with active leaks and tested for meter flow. Could not find any sign of a leak and no meter movement. Checked around and saw no issues as far as water usage goes. I recommend checking your water meter daily, typical usage is 100-150 gallons per day per person. Keep us posted if otherwise. Water pressure at 62 psi Rebuild the tank internals with more modern components, new tank bolts, and supply lines. Test for leaks and a proper flush. Toilets in question are the basement guest room and the upstairs office bathroom. Tank rebuilds went great and toilets are performing smoothly. Left estimates to replace 2006 water heater to meet code compliance. Fixed a sink drain leak as a courtesy. Client potentially interested in Homecare, but did not have the time to do a detailed plumbing inspection, left an estimate for Homecare
