I came out today due to power loss in the living room at the outlets. The homeowner states that she has a contractor working on the home and is doing the electrical work. I found the main issue behind the tv in a new 2g switch box which all the taps where breaking and I also found very bad connections. The other issues that were discovered by the contractor are the following: * No proper bonding of the yolk or straps of the switches * Not attaching all the equipment grounding conductors in the box resulting in open grounds on the outlets * Altering the existing circuits and not providing AFCi protection. * Concealing junction boxes behind the ceiling with drywall. * Switching the neutral conductors for the switches. I advised the homeowner that the work that he is doing is very poor, dangerous and is a violation the National Electrical Code and to proceed with caution if she continues to use him. Other issues I found on the circuit are as followed: * Painted devices * Loose b
