Homeowner had us out today because they are having issues with both units inside of the home. Upon arrival we noticed that there two systems in the home both furnaces are 25 years old. The main floor system is completely from 2000 and the second floor has an evaporator and outdoor unit that is from 2013. Homeowner informed us that she recently had a home warranty company out that told her that she needed refrigerant added to the main floor system and that they were doing a and the second floor has a evaporator and outdoor unit that is from 2013. We found out for the main floor AC compressor was failing amping at almost 16 amps with a max of 13.2.
