Upon arrival customer stated that main floor system was not working and not heating. Customer er stated that he has had a lot of issues out of this system before. Air handler is 4 years old, heat pump is 4 years old. After inspection of system found that main break at electrical panel was tripped. Did full elevation on system, blower wheel is dirty, blower capacitor tested good. (20x20x1) system filter was very clogged and dirty. Heat strips are coming on. Condensate pump has a lot of build up inside it and needs to be cleaned. Outdoor condenser coils were clean, ed good, contactor was very pitted and a loose connection made high voltage wire bad. The reason why breaker is tripping is due to air flow on system. This is a 5 ton system and has a two 12” return duct and one 10” return duct. This equals 1,260cfm. A 5 ton system requires 2000cfm in order to operate properly. System is short 740cfm. This will continue to make system over heat and have issues with main breaker tripping. With
