Upon arrival customer stated that they were having a lot of dust issues upstairs system and wanted to have system inspected and wanted to have the downstairs system inspected as well. Did full evaluation of system, unit is 24 years old both gas furnace and ac/coil, and did find several issues In regards to customer concerns for dust. Blower wheel is very dirty, 12x20x1 system filter is u derailed for system and gets dirty fast, there is a conjunction box that return ducts feed into and the duct board inside is very dirty, duct system is very old and dirty as well, inside system insulation has a lot of dirt and dust build up. When system is running the dirt and debris is floating in air stream and system. The evaporator coils is rusted, the drain pan does not have any flood protection and does not fit the entire base of system, advised customer that rust from coils will clog drain line and there would be ceiling damage due to not having a long enough drain pan or flood protection device
