came out customer had just had an install within the past 5 months. The workmanship was very bad. Started at the thermostat to get a call for heat and immediately found out that the thermostat was not wired correctly. They were wired for conventional heat and the system is a heat pump. One thermostat was not reading the temp accurately which was causing the system to continuously run. The basement tstat was not compatible with the system. after that we went to the attic we found the heat pump was wired incorrectly th previous tech had jumped out the w1 and w2 and aux at the airhandler and at the zoning board and the drain line did not a vent or a safety switch. We added the vent and th safety switch (ss2). we rewired the airhandler and zone board to the manufacturer diagram, the zone board had signs of burn outs and even when giving the call for heat it only energized in cool. we will need to replace the zone board.
