Client is interested in receiving hotter water at fixtures. Mentioned that the water going to the shower is not as hot as it used to be. Tested the master shower upstairs, performed a crossover test, and checked water heater voltage, amps, and ohms. Replace the shower cartridge in the master bathroom and set the scald setting to hottest. Customer turned up the temperature on the water heater, advised the risks of scalding increase with water above 125 degrees Fahrenheit. After replacement, the shower temperature was reading between 114 and 120 degrees.
