As we arrived today, Peter explained to us that he had multiple receptacles in his upstairs master bedroom and bathroom, plus some lights that were not working. After performing a troubleshoot, we found a severely burned group of wires in the triple gang switch box. Those wires were cut back to healthy wiring and reconnected with a wire nut. Once that was done all power was restored to the affected area. While we were here, I also found an incorrect breaker in the electrical panel, which I removed. I removed a Siemens 50 amp double pole breaker and replaced it with an Eaton 50 amp double pole breaker. While I was here, I also installed a service protector on the outside meter base. I installed a 50 amp double pole Siemens breaker in the meter base and the surge protector on the bottom side of the meter base.
