Arrived on site to look at a drain that client had questions about. In the attic they have their ACs draining into an open/trapped drain in the attic. The drain was working as designed and was trapped and vented properly. I flushed to verify function of the drain. The upstairs furnace had a poorly pitched drain line and all attic AC drainage runs along the floor or the attic which can cause backups and failures. All systems we inspected today were operational and without any failures or safety concerns. We spoke about Homecare and getting the drain fixed but they wanted some time to think it over. We emailed over estimates and collected service call payment via credit card.
