Upon arrival I confirmed with a customer of the install and after going over the sheet rock damage as we did previously we agreed, and I continued onto starting the work. I removed the existing charger outlet that was malfunctioning from the panel and the wall. I cut the channel that would be needed to install the new wire and charger. At this time material arrived, and I confirmed with the customer about the placement of the charger. After drilling holes through the wood, I rounded the wire into the panel and to the charger. I repaired the sheet rock damage by replacing and putting on a single layer of mud. I then mounted the charger. After completing the wiring in the panel and cleaning up the area, I tested the charger with the customer. After confirming with one of our Tesla specialist due to the new generation of charger, this no longer needs to be protected by GFCI protection.
