2 system homecare mainfloor/basement: Basement: refrigerant pressures very low due to refrigerant leak (r22). Strip heat and air handler are full of dust and dirt. The capacitors for the blower motor are not secured. No repair options due to the unit running on r22: obsolete refrigerant. Customer did get an estimate for replacement. Tech unhooked power of inside the air handler with the homeowners permission; when the strip heat runs it emits a burning dust smell throughout the home. Mainfloor system: I flushed the drain lines and added a clean out T. I added clean out tablets and enzymes. I checked refrigerant pressures. I found the the breaker for the strip heat is oversized and the strip heat is undersized (4.8 kw). With the homeowners permission I replaced the strip heat with a 7.5 kw; and checked amps on it (good). An electrician is scheduled to come out to replace the breaker for the air handler; tech didn’t have Polaris lugs and count not get the breaker out of the panel. Th
