Upon arrival, the customer expressed concern about older kitchen supply stops that were showing signs of corrosion and believe they were the source of an active leak. A total evaluation was performed, which determined that the leak was not caused by the supply stops. The leak was instead due to an improperly installed garbage disposal trap, which was allowing water to escape during use Options were discussed with the customer, including replacement of the aging and corroded kitchen supply stops, rework, and updating the kitchen waterlines, replacement of the backyard hosespigot, which was spraying and not operating properly. At this time, the customer elected to only move forward with repairing the improperly, installed garbage disposal trap. The trap was corrected, inspected, and tested to ensure proper drainage and leak free operation. All work performed is functioning properly at the time of service.
