Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: outlet not working LOCATION: kitchen and dining room FINDINGS: could not properly assess all outlets, I was unable to access most of them. We managed to find a GFCI in the kitchen that was tripped. According to the customer, the GFCI trip during a lightning storm. RESOLUTION: today we were able to reset the GFCI and restore power to all the outlets. It is possible that this GFCI may fail in the future due to possible lightning strike. I recommend that we install a home search protection in the panel along with a couple of other items. In order for us to properly do electrical work in the future we will need to have full access to all outlets and anything electrical.
