homeowner had us out today because their main floor system is not cooling properly. Upon arrival we noticed that there is a system that is from 2006. We found that the outdoor fan motor which was recently replaced by a third-party company had failed. We also noticed that the capacitor for the system was installed incorrectly and left inside of a box. We noticed that both outdoor condensers are very dirty and will need to be clean. We also noticed some biological growth on the inside of the system and recommended installing the Apco X air purifier. The contactor for the system was burned out and also needed to be replaced. Homeowner approved to have all repairs made. After repairs were made, we cycled the system to verify proper operation. System is cooling at time of departure.
