Installed a new toilet in the first guest bathroom after the existing toilet tank broke into multiple pieces. Replaced the toilet’s straight stop valve, as the previous push-connect fitting was not intended for permanent installation. Replaced the water heater expansion tank to bring it up to current code requirements and properly secured it. Replaced the pressure-regulating valve after confirming system pressure was elevated at 90 PSI, and adjusted the home’s water pressure to a safe operating level of 70 PSI. As part of the service, the water heater was flushed for a minimum of 30 minutes to improve performance and system longevity.
