I arrived to the customers home and in his home inspection for the outdoor sewer line, the inspector found that there was sections of tree roots that have invaded the sewer line. Today I came out to camera the drain lines. I pulled the toilet in the hall bath on the main level of the home and was able to run the camera 47 feet to a point in which there was an obstruction found inside of the piping preventing me from pushing any further. I’ve located the section of obstructed piping under the basement slab next to a 3 inch cleanout. The drain line to the toilet appears to be 2 inches (undersized), and the drain line exiting the home (5 bath home), is 3 inch, undersized according to Georgia’s plumbing code DFU units.
