Upon arrival customer stated that outdoor system had not been working since last week and was having intermittent issues with outdoor system coming on. Stated every time since did start up since it’s been installed he was having issues with compressor being loud. After inspection of system found that unit had an error of 04 indicating a fault code of a locked rotor. Tested compressor and found that unit has a failed compressor. Outdoor capacitor was testing bad as well. Checked indoor system and found no issues unit is 6 years old. Gave customer estimated price to replace in warranty compressor and capacitor and also add an hard start kit for compressor, advised customer lead time from manufacturer is 7-10 business days. Customer also has option to speak with install supervisor to changeout ac and coil for system. We would not be able to provide just a r410 outdoor system due to none being in stock in warehouse.
