Heating tune up performed today on an Amana heat pump with air handler installed in 2019. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Technician found that the system was low in refrigerant. Performed a complimentary leak search and found that there is a leak in the evaporator coil in the middle of the right side of the coil. Highly suggest a coil replacement under warranty. Warranty covers the part needing replacement and the labor involved but does not cover the cost of refrigerant lost. Customer shares the home and will need to discuss the repairs with the other home owners but fore making a decision. UV bulb needs to be replaced. All amp draws are within tolerance. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable.
