On arrival system running and heating producing 16 degrees delta. Indoor unit has lots of tar on evap coil and the uv system is non functional. Outdoor unit passed all electrical testing.

On this job I inspected the heating and cooling as well as all the duct work. This is a r22 system straight cool with 15kw heat strips. The system has high in amps and can be heard turning from inside the house. Also the system has build up on the air handler walls. The return is also very dirty and duct work is falling apart.
For this heating tune-up I inspected the customer's furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specs and running well. I recommend the customer get a duct cleaning, since she has had a remodeling done on her home and there is construction dust within the system and in the ducts. She stated she has never had a duct cleaning done before and would like to get that done. Myself and Ryan took a look at the customer's electrical panel and hot water heater, the panel being 40 years old and the water heater being 18 years old. We found signs of tank compromisation on both heating elements, with corrosion on the outside and dark water and sediment build up when we opened up the cleanout. Due to the age and condition of the tank we recommend replacing the water heater with a new one so she does not have to worry about the tank failing and flooding her house. The customers electrical panel is original to the home and has a number of mismatched breakers.
Inspected water heater and electrical panel. Water heater is 18 years old, corrosion around the elements and has never been flushed, recommend replacement. Electrical panel is in fair shape for its age, lots of breakers that are from different brands pose a safety hazard. Due to its age recommend replacement.
On this job I inpected both heating and cooling. This is a straight cool with a gas furnace. The system makes a td of 20 in cooling. In heating the system is intolernace and running as it should. The system could use an easy start.
Customer did not have any issues did camera line due to pouring down rain plumbing is operating correctly at this time
I was here for a heating tuneup blower is a bit dirty, and all amperages are within intolerance delta between the supply and the return are within range. Refrigerant levels are good system needs duct cleaning, and I changed out the filter
Quoted a level 3 60k heat pump horizontal for $20,000 Customer couldn't qualify for financing due to just installing a pool
For this heating tune-up I inspected the customer's air handler and condenser. This system is from 2004, straight electric, and utilizes R-22 refrigerant for cooling. Testing the heat strips, only 3 of the 4 were working and pulling the needed 20 amps. I leak searched the evaporator coil and was getting some hits on my detector indicating there is a very small refrigerant leak. Additionally the blower is loose and noisy on startup which is indicative of potential failure. The customer needs a compressor saver on the condenser and for the contactor to be replaced since it is pitted and buzzing which also points to potential failure. Overall the system is working however would need major repairs in the future and small repairs needed now to keep it functioning properly and close to manufacturer specifications. I recommend replacing the entire system with a new energy efficient heat pump and the customer would like to get a quote from a comfort advisor. An appointment is scheduled for tom
