Arrived to no heat. Found that the low stage furnace pressure switch had failed. Replaced switch and performed function check n system running and heating the home upon departure. Customer requested a plumber to come out. She needs a toilet replaced and would like a price on moving a sink. Customer requested an electrician to come out. She is concerned her solar system is losing efficiency. She also wants to ensure that her electrical is safe. Plumber and electrician are set to come on Friday.
Customer states that he lost power to the home a while ago and the thermostat went blank. He put new batteries in but did not reset the time and date. Technician reset the time and date and system came on. Technician suspects that the original batteries were bad and caused the thermostat to lose programs when the power was lost. Ensured that the drains were clear. System running and cooling the home upon departure.
Customer states she heard a gurgling noise coming from the drain line. Technician found that both the primary and secondary p-traps were dry. Poured water in both drains. System running normally at time of departure.
Did a super tune-up on Amana heat pump. Outdoor unit all electrical components were pulling proper amperage, all electrical components were tightened, outside unit washed and waxed. Indoor unit old filter was changed for a new filter that customer had, t-switch was checked and made sure vinegar was poured down and drained, all electrical components inside we're all tight and pulling proper amperage, evaporator coil clean and a pond departure system was running properly. Recommended customer a air compressor soft start and iaq200 customer said that she will be waiting for her husband to let him know about it.
Customer does not want to replace a system at the moment does not have a job once Justin to send them a quote on replacing the compressor. Customer stated he is going to have multiple companies give him quotes for compressor only and is looking to get at least one to two years more out of the current system that he has after doing so mention that he does not want to spend eight or $9000 for a compressor
Upon arrival to do super tune-up customer stated the heat pump would make it loud noise that sounded like a helicopter while while running during evaluation found that the compressor was running very loud and was running very close to the rla rating for manufacturer refrigerant pressures were off and also a mouse had peed on copper causing copper to oxidize and will break down over time eventually causing a leak outdoors 10 years old indoor is 6 years old talk with customer about compressor replacement refrigerant pricing system replacement customer decided to set up a comfort advisor appointment but wants to also have pricing for the part when the Comfort advisor is present Comfort advisor setup for today confirmed by the office

Came to house to pull monitoring system out of panel after a few months of letting it monitor his electrical consumption and also his solar monitoring and got all the data and took pictures of everything and sent it over to Brian so that they could process it all at the office and do everything so that then we could reach back out to the customer when everything is put together so that we could explain and talk to him about it also while I was there customer was having issues with flickering lights took a look at a few switches and didn't really find much but the lights all stop flickering so told customer that if it continues to happen to give us a call and we will come out here and fix the issue with a regular troubleshooting fee
Vulnerable customer stated the furnace would not come on during evaluation found that the thermostat was rating 71 room temperature while set at 70 turn furnace on checked all safeties and ignition system found no issues at this time cycled the furnace on and off multiple times with no issues. Ran a quick check on condenser found no issues with the condenser talked with customer about refrigerant change price change and next coming months recommended a comfort advisor visit due to the age of the system customer stated wife has a changing schedule and is unable to schedule Comfort advisor visit at this time Left with system in heat

Super tune up performed today on a Goodman heat pump with air handler installed in 2022. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. PSc blower motor and capacitor are acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working properly. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed.
