Alex is the Best, didn’t have an issues with the system, He ended up driving an hour to walk me through changing the filter in the attic, felt really bad for that, but He handled it graciously and was extremely understanding about the misunderstanding

Install 60k upflow heat pump with high efficiency filtration, closet platform, keep existing UV system, code kit
Super tune up performed today on a Goodman heat pump with air handler installed in 2018. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. X13 blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. UV bulb is about a year and a half old and should be changed soon. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. Suggest adding a compressor saver to the outdoor unit to help the compressor start up and run more efficiently. System set to cool upon departure.
Super tune up performed today on a 4 year old Trane heat pump with air handler nall electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. ECM blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working as they should. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed.
I will return Wednesday the 19th to install 2 general electric generator inlets
X13 blower motor replaced. Performed function check in heating and in cooling. System is working properly in both functions. Thermostat set to heat upon departure.
Super tune up performed today on a Goodman straight electric system. Heat strips are amping properly. X13 blower motor is acceptable. Evaporator coil and blower wheel are clean compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels were low. Could not locate a leak in the system. Checked the evaporator coil, condenser coil and as much of the line set as I could. Put in leak stop and charged the system to 10 degrees of superheat which was 16oz of 410a refrigerant. System running and cooling checked. System set back to heat at 72degrees. System operating properly at time of departure.
Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with the customer today between 12-3 pm. Customer is interested in replacing the system being that all warranties expire in August.

Primary electrical control to the heat strips had failed nreolaced electrical control and repaired wiring under warranty. 11/7/25 Discussed a level 5 heat pump system along with adding insulation in the Attic I want to pause this job. Customer is leaving this evening going to Alaska and will return on the 17th we need to have a phone conversation at that time on how to move forward..
12k single head mini split $4,800 The same quote I gave him last December of 2024. He had forgotten that he had me out last year
Came to job to install monitoring system on panel to watch voltage and watch how much power the house is using and where it is all being used at to see why electric bill is super high Will need to check back with customer in about 1 to 2 months to see how it is doing
I have completed my electrical tune up and found he does need surge protection but at this time he's not willing to part with that price, gfci's are located in the proper locations and are functional, he did express concerns of the bathroom GFCI popping occasionally but once we talked about possible causes he was put at ease
Heating tune up performed on a Goodman package unit heat pump installed in 2017. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. All amp draws are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Reversing valve, defrost control board and heat strips are all working as they should. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed.
Arrived to 04 "locked rotor" code. Checked all electrical connections to ensure they are tight. Checked 35mfd capacitor and compressor saver. Both check out and are good. Found that the TXV bulb was on the bottom of the vapor line. Adjusted the bulb to the 2 o'clock position and performed a hard reset on the system. Subcooling at 6 degrees with 5 degrees of superheat upon departure. System running and cooling upon departure. If problem persisits then a new compressor may be needed.
