Today I performed an evaluation on a 2-year-old heat pump unit upon arrival the outdoor unit was not running checked thermostat it was constantly blinking in the delay reprogrammed the thermostat to be safe and realized it was shutting itself off as a safety feature so I continued outside to locate the 24 volt issue the problem ended up being a failed high pressure sensor bypassed and ran test with indoor thermostat wires jumpered after verifying everything was good replaced the thermostat and verified that it could now control the unit when I was removing my gauges the liquid line Schrader valve started leaking replaced this as a courtesy bundled in with the extended diagnostic and rewire homeowner decided to sign up for the home budget and protection plan covering both units and the membership is to be applied to the MasterCard ending in 0166 left unit running in heat mode thank you for choosing Comfort Experts

For this evaluation customer stated their attic fan was extremely loud and squeaky, since it was working what I did was use silicone lubricant and sprayed it on all the moving parts. It seemed to help a little bit however did not get rid of the rumbling sound from the fan. I believe this is because it is just old, however it is still working pretty well at ventilating the whole home.

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and she stated her big attic fan was squeaking, when I got in the attic I could not pinpoint exactly where the squeaking was coming from so I lubricated the fan shaft as well as the motor shaft and pulleys. If you're doing so the fan ran for a few minutes and the squeaking and noise went down substantially.

For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and they stated the system had stopped working. Want to try turning the system on nothing happened, so I got in the attic and when I opened up the air handler the fuse was blown. I used my resettable fuse, turned off the thermostat and did the hopscotch method. From R-G and R-Y nothing happened however when I jumped R-O the fuse blew. I went to the condenser and unplug the solenoid on the reversing valve and went back up in the attic and tested R-O and nothing happened, indicating the reversing valve has failed and is what was causing the fuse to blow. With this system being from 2009 and being well out of manufacturer warranty I talked to the homeowner about the cost of the repair versus the cost of replacement and the amount of stress I can put on the system replacing a reversing valve. Customer would like to speak with a CA and appointment is set for 1pm tomorrow September 3rd.

2017 3t straight electric downflow closet. No manufacturers warranty. Frozen coil. Dethaw and performed a leak detection. Leaks identified. Capacitor is failing. Blower has heavy buildup. No filtration. Low refrigerant. System down. Attempted to set a lead, Rob G told me finance companies don't do mobile home parks due to the land. I expressed to Homeowner all issues found and told him his only option is to seek out financing from his own banking institution. Estimate emailed.
