Very upfront

Technician was polite and answered all my questions. The issue was beyond the scope of what could be expected to be repaired in one visit but all information was well explained and diagnosed.

Waste of time and very costly.

Needed to fix heating part of HVAC. Could not fix it. Said he would come back at some time in the future when and if needed parts arrive from China. Charged me almost $800. This is the last of multiple problems I’ve had with a system I bought from them and that they installed. Had someone else look at it and it appears it was installed incorrectly and can never be fixed as it is. Everyone I talk to is always really nice, including the service technician, but they can’t or won’t fix my HVAC system.

Comfortmaker heat pump with air handler installed in 2010. System was blowing hot air when system was set to cooling. Technician discovered that the thermostat was set to electric heat and not heat pump. Recalibrated thermostat and performed function check in both heating and cooling. System running on cool upon departure.

2013 3 ton trane hp attic horizontal. Filters- homeowners had a filter at the returns and at the indoor unit. I expressed the importance of removing either or. Drain line is clear. Blower wheel has a layer of dirt. Evaporator coil is getting dirty. DeltaT was 80 degress. Outdoor unit inrush amp exceeds data tag LRA. 50mfd capacitor is below manufacturer tolerance. Vapor line needs insulation. There is a lot of airflow restriction to the outdoor unit. Homeowners mentioned appliances lost in electrical outages due to surges. I informed about the 24 month uv bulb lifespan. Stage 2 heating is coming on right away due to compromised compressor. Discussed a whole home surge protector. Attic access inside home and needs an attic tent to stop hot attic energy from leaking I to the home. After addressing all of the issues surrounding the age, lack of warranty, compressor behavior, capacitor outside of tolerance, airflow restrictions on both indoor and outdoor and electrical bills bei

Upon arrival customer stated that system stopped working after she had the propane tank refilled During inspection discovered that pressure switch had tripped and went ahead and reset the code and had the system up and operating and let customer know that most likely the pressure tripped whenever the person was filling up the propane Left customers house with system heating

Carrier heat pump with air handler installed in 2015. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Blower motor is acceptable. Evaporator coil is clean. UV bulb needs to be replaced. 60/5 dual run capacitor is within tolerance. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Highly suggest a compressor saver to help the system start up and run more efficiently.
