Technician was polite and answered all my questions. The issue was beyond the scope of what could be expected to be repaired in one visit but all information was well explained and diagnosed.
Needed to fix heating part of HVAC. Could not fix it. Said he would come back at some time in the future when and if needed parts arrive from China. Charged me almost $800. This is the last of multiple problems I’ve had with a system I bought from them and that they installed. Had someone else look at it and it appears it was installed incorrectly and can never be fixed as it is. Everyone I talk to is always really nice, including the service technician, but they can’t or won’t fix my HVAC system.

Super tune up performed today on a ten year old Goodman gas package unit. Duct work under the house needs to be replaced. Multiple holes in duct work is causing refrigerant readings to be inaccurate and compressor is amping high. Outdoor unit was very dirty. Washed outdoor unit very well and amp draws improved slightly. Customer not interested in repairing duct work at this time.
Completed tuneup on system, found tons of biological growth on the indoor unit and coil recommend a cleaning of the evaporator coil and air handler case and installing an IAQ 300 to help prevent future biological growth or also a cleaning in a regular UV light to combat that growth. Also talk to homeowner about hot rooms originally there is metal ductwork up in the attic that was tapped into by flex duct and is poorly designed. There is also no safety switch in case drain backs up to shut system off upon inspection of outdoor unit found that dogs have been urinating on condenser coil, causing it to shred a part on the corners cleaned the coil the best I could, and to not cause damage did not wash affected area Recommended a new condenser coil while still in warranty, but all electronics are within manufacture spec as far as just noticing for the heat strips has only one leg of the heat strips are hooked up.

Tech found that the refrigerant levels look to be off at this time with a sc or 2.8 and sh of 19. Tech did a leak search and didn't find anything at this time tech would like to keep an eye on it. Tech found that the UV light is on but the efficiency has gone down due to time tech recommends replacement lamp Tech poured a gallon of water in the system and the flow was up to standards at this time all electrical connections are tight and have no corrosion at this time.
We have completed electrical tuneup no surge protector sold offered it GFCi's are present and working panel looked good and the service was clean
We will cable Gray line in attempt to clear. Cleared line with cable. Video inspection shows separation under home. Gave estimate to repair. Customer wants to wait a while. No warranty on stoppage
Upon arrival tech talked to homeowner and explained what the system next door is needing Tech started with the airhandler the system is a downflow tech found that the evaporator coil does need a cleaning as well as the blower. Tech found the sh and the sc to be low and due restrictions of the build up on the evaporator coil. Tech cleaned and washed out the condenser. Tech got a high inrush amps draw on the. Compressor and suggest a compressor saver to get the longest life out of the system
Upon, arrival tech found that the system was showing low tech did a leak test and found nothing. Tech did find that the caps were off. Tech added some refrigerant and got the levels to where they are supposed to be for future reference Tech does highly recommend cleaning evaporator coil, blower wheel cleaning as well as uv lamp.
Flushed tankless water heater due to extreme hard water we are responsible for any issues that may occur due to removal or displacement of calcium and minerals built up in tankless water heater
Customer wants to schedule for next Tuesday so they can rearrange there dogs to the other yard to access the thankless heater
I completed tune up and provided customer estimate to replace old cpvc water lines with pex lines.
Called customer to confirm their needs. Emailed revised estimate to install 240v 30a outlet under panel in garge for dryer. And vent to outside.
Wrote estimate for work needing to be done customer just collecting estimates wants to know how much it would cost for future reference.
