He came, he saw, he CONQUERED

Our tech on the day was Kellen, and we could not have been more satisfied with the man as well as his work. Kellen arrived in a most timely fashion and got right to work diagnosing the issue with our a/c compressor. Turns out the condenser unit was shot (thank you Texas weather) but he got us up and running quickly. He didn't stop there though; he did a thorough inspection on the indoor unit as well. That turned up a couple of issues which we will need to address in future, but Kellen did not try to pressure us into buying anything at this time. He explained what would need to be done and left it to us to decide when, and if, to proceed. No high pressure sales, he just provided the info for us. Even had photos of the actual problem areas so that we could see for ourselves where the problems were. Five stars!

Service was great but not satisfied with the cost

Ryan was great. He was extremely professional and fixed the problem, but I have an issue with the cost of his visit. My issue ac/heat issue was supposedly fixed the day before by Zak, but after he left the problem still persisted so that is why Ryan had to come out. There was a part that needed to be replaced so I had to pay an extra $400 (after my 20% discount) on top of what I paid the previous day. After doing some research, I could of purchased the replaced part online myself for $20 and it took Ryan no more than 10 minutes to install the new part. I think it is utterly ridiculous that this fix was $400. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

2013 3 ton hp closet upflow. System down upon arrival. Condenser capacitor fan failure. Replaced. System functional. Heavy biological growth present on indoor. No manufacturers warranty left from goodman. Homeowner uses A1Air, when asked why he chose us he said because they didn't pick up the phone. ARS rescue rooter was there when I arrived. Homeowner just spent $17k slab leak repair. I was gentle with my approach in telling them that the next time I visit we'll have to talk about a new system, but for now a membership and a 40/5 dual run capacitor will have to do. Left system in cooling 76.

Soon as I got here she explain to me the water issue in the closet. After gauging up I found the system low on 410a. The outside is newer we installed in 3 years ago. The inside is older and has nvr been replaced. I recommend changing out the air handler. This is a 3 ton heat pump system.

On arrival system was leaking water. I found that the house plumbing was clogged and recommended calling a plumber. I also advised the customer to consider replacing the system ahead of the new refridgerant change. The system was installed in 98 and has a number of problems including improperly run drain lines, a gas valve that is broken and flex line running into the furnace directly into the gas valve.

5/16/24 On arrival system was off. Customer stated evaporator coil was freezing and leaking water. Drain line flowed when flushed, filter was changed before I arrived after coil had frozen.i informed customer that due to the rain I would be unable to fully confirm why the coil froze. Airflow appeared good but any refridgerant check I do in the rain is not accurate. Pausing call to reschedule.

Tech arrived at a tune-up. Upon inspection, the capacitor was within specs. The new outdoor unit was pulling high amperage on start-up. The condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The filter was dirty and replaced. The drain was clear and bleach was poured. The Delta and refrigerant was within range. The refrigerant was high. The customer was informed of recommendations today. She decided to move forward with adding a Compressor Saver to release stress on the compressor. This item was installed, tested and functioning. The system was functioning upon departure.

On arrival system was running and not cooling. The system had a 4-5 degree subcool and is designed for a 10 subcool indicating low refridgerant. The low side saturation temp was 30 showing that the evaporator coil was below freezing. The drain lines were run improperly and there were no water safety's. The evaporator coil was extremely rusted. The outdoor units contactor and capicator were in rough shape and needing to be replaced. The system holds 6.4 pounds of refridgerant so I quoted 56 oz. I also quoted an evaporator coil due to the extreme rust and absence of leaks on the outdoor unit. I recommended speaking to a comfort advisor about replacement due to the cost of repairs, the condition of the system and the 2 week wait on carrier coils vs the quick turnaround time on replacement. Rob is going to call tomorrow to give an estimate.
