On this cooling tune up I washed condendor and changed filters. System has a 10° subcool and 20°td. The evap coil is clean and drain are clear. System has a hard start kit I would recommend and easy start. System is now clean and ready for cooling.
For this cooling tune-up I inspected the air handler and condenser, all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specs. Customer does not have any water safety on the air handler and I recommended a float switch to prevent any flooding potential. I also recommend a duct cleaning and a UV system for better air quality and preventing allergies and sickness. Customer expressed interest in the duct cleaning but will call the office about any promotionals we may have going on. Additionally the customer is overcharged, as when I engaged up I had a 10° superheat and my target was 25°, meaning too much refrigerant is in the system making the system work harder and could prematurely cause key components to fail. Customer declined all recommendations at this time.
