Service Tech was very professional/friendly and went right to work to fix our furnace. He was highly knowledgeable in quickly figuring out what was wrong. Temps extremes effect my stepdad 82 yro more than most due to previously having had a stroke plus also has ongoing heart & cancer issues. Was very glad to have the heat working again before major bad cold weather hit our area. Thanks!
EXCELLENT SERVICE from Alex, a very knowledgeable, polite, intelligent, honest young man. Highly recommend this company.
Arrived onsite customer had taken his shower valve apart and tried to replace the cartridge himself. The cartridge was broken inside valve. Was able to peel cartridge out of valve and install the customer supplied cartridge. Turned water on everything working properly. No warranty on cartridge as was not company supplied or the repair itself since the cartridge was broken inside valve when arrived.
Arrive for service Eval Thermostat had activated a program schedule to adjust temperature Disabled schedule in settings and applied hold at 67 Capacitors, Motors, and refrigerant fine Honduran mentioned a word noise from the system on Tuesday. Today I performed an evaluation on a 22-year-old down flow gas furnace and a mobile home upon my arrival the control board was flashing three green LED lights indicating that the combustion air switch failed to close after resetting the board there was no response by the unit and the three flashing lights returned following the sequence of operations I first turned to the combustion blower motor I tried to open the housing completely to inspect it however the design of the unit calls for intricate disassembly in order to access all of the screws necessary so I Plugged it back up And ran a test one more time This time it came on And even ran long enough for me to Run a carbon monoxide test which thankfully yielded no results however as I was filling out my forms and creating an estimate the unit turned back off and the three green LED flashes appeared once more I showed the photos to the homeowner and explained what was going on and recommended replacing the inducer draft motor as well
On arrival systems running and heating. Found no reason for furnace to have previously had issues. After running systems for 5 minutes I performed a co check at the supply vents and found 8-9 ppm. From return plenums to supply plenums I had 28 and 44 ppm of co. Fire department found no co. Pulled blower and inspected heat exchanger. Found no obvious cracks or flaws on rivets. Recommended speaking with a comfort advisor about replacement due to age and condition of equipment and the upcoming refridgerant change. Advisor is scheduled for the 3rd.
For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he stated he blower motor was not running, I was out here at the end of November and replaced the blower capacitor and when I had left the system was running. This time when I showed up the capacitor was still within tolerance however the blower motor was seized. Customer was unable to replace the motor right now however I stated you'd give us a call back when they are able to.
Returned. Cleaned Condenser Ryan spoke to Homeowner about concerns
Wrote estimate for customer she is getting some pricing info right now trying to figure out what is best for her. Will contact us when she’s ready to do any kind of work.
On this job I inspected both sides heating and cooling. This is a straight cool all electric air handler down flow with 20kw. The system could use a cut and pull cleaning for evap coil. The heater is pull 20amps each and the condenser is in tolerance. I'm installing a easy start to help extend the life of this compressor. And to help over all in rush. All work is complete. System is online and ready for cooling and heating.
Arrived for STU Filter fine Drains clear Heat strips fine Coil and Blower very dusty with biological growth Condenser coil cleaned Hard start kit required to lower starting amp draw of compressor Running apps on fan and compressor are fine Homeowner will call us back when she's ready
For this heating tune-up I inspected the air handler as well as the condenser at the customers request. The air handler is from 1998 and is an extremely rough condition. The drain pan is rusted through when I showed up the blower motor was not running because the capacitor was completely dead. I installed a new capacitor in order to get the system running and the customers agreed to keep it installed. The heat strips were working however it appeared only two out of three of the heat strips were actually functioning and the plenums were detached a quarter of the way around the air handler and not sealed. He blower motor is also extremely dirty and as well as the blower wheel which can cause excess amps and cause that motor to fail. He can it's your fan motor had seized up and the capacitor was with intolerance indicating that the problem is in fact the motor. I was honest with the customer and told him his best options right now would be to completely replace the system with a new mo
