Kellen was wonderful. He exlplained every party of the job to us, even stayed late to try and troubleshoot. Very professional. Wonderful.
Andy was very polite and definitely knew his job
Aaron summed up in one word is efficient: fast & very thorough. Thank you Aaron and thank you Comfort Experts.
Service Tech was very professional/friendly and went right to work to fix our furnace. He was highly knowledgeable in quickly figuring out what was wrong. Temps extremes effect my stepdad 82 yro more than most due to previously having had a stroke plus also has ongoing heart & cancer issues. Was very glad to have the heat working again before major bad cold weather hit our area. Thanks!
EXCELLENT SERVICE from Alex, a very knowledgeable, polite, intelligent, honest young man. Highly recommend this company.
Whether Comfort Experts knows it or not, they've hired a convergent thinker. Zak Lovig needs a shirt embroidered with "The Fixer". He doesn't just repair the surface problem, he exhaustively investigates to discover why the problem presents in the first place and then corrects that, so it doesn't happen again. This is the way.
Dennis did an outstanding job! Than you, Dennis. Every time I've had to call Comfort Experts, they are always professional, on time, thorough, and answer any other questions you may have.
2013 York 3t gas attic horizontal. No manufacturers warranty. History of multiple refrigerant recharge per homeowner. Atmos gas company turned off upstairs ballvalve gas line. Leaks detected in evaporator coil, confirmed with refrigerant guages. Educated the homeowners on what's happening to the system. Presented possible next steps including repair vs replacement due to age, efficiency and warranty status. Homeowners both agreed to a CA appointment Monday 7/22/24 @8:30am. Both homeowners work at the hospital on the night shift hence the early appointment request. Please apply first responders discount benefits when presenting. System off and only downstairs unit is running.
For this evaluation I showed up to the customer's home and he stated their air conditioner had been running non-stop since we're out here yesterday 10 July. When I got there the internal house temperature was 75° and the thermostat was set to 75°. When I raise the set temperature to 80 the system did turn off. I like search the evaporator coil and did find a leak, and when I gauged up outside the system was low on refrigerant again as I had a 44° super heat with a target of 23°. I talked to the customer about replacing the coil as it's in warranty and quoted him the price. He stated they would think about it and get back to us if they decide to move forward.
This system was low on freon and had a bad defrost control board. Today I've add 16oz of 410a and added a new control board on the condensor. Customer understands there's a leak but wants to fix it later on down the line.
Arrive for service Eval Homeowner started coil froze up last night Refrigerant levels are fine l Motors and capacitors are operating normal Suspect that x13 motor is misfiring occasionally or the unit is suffering an airflow restriction when the bathroom door closes. Refrigerant levels do change when I closed the door. May take several hours of run time Homeowner will do the return themselves and let us know if they catch the x13 malfunctioning
