Pleased repeat customers

Mark was great. Took the time to explain the situation and service solutions for us to be able to make our decision with the necessary info. Not pushy and the care and attention provided for our home in the process was appreciated. Comfort Experts hires well and we’re pleased with our membership with them (worth it for anyone wondering!)

Great service

Very good service, Cole and Hunter were very friendly and professional when they arrived at my home. They asked questions and listened politely to my answers and then proceeded to inspect the system and let me know that it was good. There was one issue that was supposed to have been fixed and they checked the history and fixed the problem.

Tech Cody arrived at customer's home and met with Mr.Chapman. this call was a call back from the day before. The outdoor unit was not running when I came up to it, the board was giving a low pressure cut off code. I reset the system and the outdoor unit came on with no issue, I then hooked up my guages and found the system to be charged and that the pressures were in normal ranges. I did a complimentary leak test and found no leaks, and I also found no constrictions in the filter drier or TXV. I Ohmed out the low pressure switch and got a reading of .1 ohms. I concluded that the switch was failing intermittently, I gave the customer an estimate for a pressure switch replacement. He did not want to deal with the complications for replacing a switch so I told him I could jump the low pressure switch but this would put the compressor at risk if the system ever became low on pressure . He was okay with this risk and wanted to go ahead with the minor electrical repair, I completed the repa

On arrival systems were running and cooling. Indoor units had clear drain lines. Goodman was clean internally, the Rheem had a dirty blower and coil. Both outdoor units passed all electrical testing but were both overamping on start up.

2 system home. Both systems installed last year. Downstairs: Goodman gas furnace with straight cool condenser. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Dual run capacitor is within tolerance. Refrigerant levels are in range. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Upstairs: Goodman gas furnace with strip cool condenser. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator are clean. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Neither system has any water protection. Told customer about a drain switch and that code requires some sort of water protection device. She is going to speak with the builder to see if one can be installed under the 1 year builder warranty.

On arrival system was off. I found the system low on refrigerant and leak searched the entire system. I was not able to 100% leak search the evaporator coil but I was able to leak search the entirety of the outdoor unit. No leak found on the outside unit or on any of the reachable portions of the line set. Recommended replacing the evaporator coil and recharging the system. When I left the system was back on and cooling but I advised the Tennant that the coil will freeze back up again.

On arrival system was off. Compressor on the outdoor unit was not turning on. I found the compressor capicator and hard start kit both non functional. I recommended speaking to a comfort advisor due to the age and condition of the system and the cost of repairs.

Text Cody and Hunter arrived to Mr Chapman's home. He guided us inside to the thermostats and showed us where the indoor unit was located, the system was down and we started our inspection by verifying whether or not the indoor and outdoor units were running. We found the outdoor unit was not on even though it was being called for, when we did our diagnostic we found that the contactor had failed like we do to bugs crawling inside. When we replace the contactor the unit came on with no issue and the home started to cool.

Arrived to no cool. System was very low on refrigerant. Performed leak search and could not find a leak in the evaporator coil, the condenser coil, or the line set. Advised customer that I believe there is a leak I just can not find it. Recharged system with 3lbs of refrigerant. System was operating as it should upon departure.
