Install Amana 60k heat pump horizontal with high efficiency filtration, uv system, includes code kit, keep existing thermostat
Nothing is wrong with unit unit is operating correctly customer is hearing unit going to defrost so me and Jared told her to keep it in emergency heat she messed with the thermostat and took it out of emergency heat so I put it back into emergency heat unit is working customer refuses to pay service fee
For this call I performed two out of three super tune-ups. One of the units did not have a functional thermostat and I was not able to do the tune-up due to the fact. I offered installing homeowners thermostat, they opted to call Vivint because they are the ones that installed the faulty thermostat. I spoke with homeowner about condition of the older two units they are carrier brand made in 2008 because they expressed their concern for their high utility bills. I advised owner it is likely due to the old unefficiency of the units that they are using probably original to the home I offered a comfort advisor to come and give them a energy audit of how much they are actually spending on the two older units and give estimates for replacements for both older units. Homeowner did state that they have solar energy that is not functional and that the company that installed the solar panels went bankrupt. I let homeowner know that our comfort advisor could also offer a solution for their solar

Customer wanted toilet pulled concrete poured and toilet reset with floor leveled customer said next wed works for him but it's not an emergency to him so if we have a lot of calls due to the weather to bump him out and let him know he understands we will have emergency and doesn't mind waiting
Today I returned for rec work of installing four ceiling fans along with other miscellaneous minor electrical in the attic and ceiling holes with spray foam all work is complete customer is happy the install crew will show up tomorrow to blow in the insulation thank you for choosing comfort experts!
Red lightning generator with stop alarm and 2800 code. Code caused by an auxiliary switch on the backside of the generator. Customer states that his grandchild was playing in the back yard and had accidentally flipped the auxiliary switch. Technician checked switches and cleared code. Performed function check. Generator operating normally at time of departure.
Came to job to give quote on adding a 50 amp generator plug and customer had a smaller generator that only did 120 30 amp so customer is going to look for a new generator and if she finds one she will call us back and we will be doing the job tomorrow in the middle of the day after our first rec work
Today I looked at heating and cooling on the system. I am happy to report that the system tested in tolerance on all aspects. TD in cooling was 20, TD in heating was 30. The unit could use a UV system in order to improve air quality.
Today I looked at heat and cooling. Although the system works it is out of tolerance in many areas. Concerns 1 toasted up contactor 2 heat stress on defrost control 3 burnt out uv bulb The system is out of its ten year at this point putting more money in to it would be wasting money and I do not recommend it. Today I looked at heating and cooling. Although the system performs in tolerance, I have some concerns. 1. High inrush leading to loud bang on compressor startup 2. Biogrowth around the evaporator coil and blower motor 3. Defrost control board has burnt markings showing heat stress I recommend a soft start to help with the inrush, a UV light to deal with the biological growth, and replacing the defrost control board.

For this job, I worked on a heating tune-up on this heat pump system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. Customer was notified that she had boughten the wrong filters, and that her system needed a filter replacement as soon as possible. In the outside condenser, customer had a out of tolerance capacitor, which was replaced under warranty. Membership upgrade and surge protection we're recommended for her unit, customer mentioned she is in a budget and cannot proceed with any of these recommended things.
