On this job I inspected the gas furnace and cooling side of the system. The only part out of tolerance was a uv bulb that she is not interested in changing. The cooling side has a td of 20°. Heating td is 30°. System could use an easy start to improve amp draw and increase longevity. Today she going to the home and bugged plan.
11/29/2024 BrianH installed pilot assembly. Lit pilot and tested water heater. Water heater functioning normally at this time. Water heater is leaning toward middle of closet and needs to be leveled and supported to prevent possible significant flooding, disconnect of flue assembly (Carbon Monoxide issues in home), or fire. Need a plumber to return tomorrow with thermopile and completed recommend work How water heater is down

On arrival furnace failing at flame sensor. Replaced flame sensor and ignitor and it is running as intended.

On arrival system running but not heating. Found the gas line closed preventing the furnace from heating. Once gas turned on system ran and heated with no issues.
I was here to perform a tuneup on systems. Both condenser capacitors are out of tolerance. I changed out the downstairs capacitor. I change the filter for the upstairs. system very clean but ducks need a duck cleaning refrigerant within range amperage and range delta looks good UV bulb good for another year

For this super tune-up we inspected the furnace, coil, and condenser. The flame sensor was corroded and the capacitor was out of tolerance. Additionally when we gauged up we had a 33⁰ SH which is indicative that the TXV has become restricted and can impact the performance of the air conditioning during the cooling season. We talked to the customer about the difference in cost of repairs versus replacement and at this time the customer elected to replace the capacitor and Flame Sensor for now and speak with her son about replacement.
10/29/24 TS- replaced guts of frostproof hose bibb outside backyard.
Unit inducer motor is in tolerance filter was clean all safety and igniter working uv bulb still working helped customers with nest so it won't change temperature at random
On arrival system running and cooling as intended. Furnace ran with no issues. Uv bulb was in need of replacement, with customers permission I installed an iaq200, a drain treatment strip and did a complimentary sanitizing spray.
