Hernan and Ivan got here early and got right to work. They worked diligently in a very hot attic and out in the summer Texas heat for several hours. They got rid of the old system, then got the new system up and running ASAP. They knew their craft and were careful to not make a mess and to clean up thoroughly - inside and out. Hobson’s did a great job of getting a service tech out on Sunday on short notice. (Full disclosure - we pay $20 / mos. for benefits like this. It’s the best $20 I pay each month.) The new unit was running by 3:00 today (Monday). Point of interest…at 3:00 today it was warmer in my home (94 degrees) than it was in Amarillo (90 degrees). At 5:00 it’s down to 85!!
Cooper and his assistant showed up early; were very friendly and professional. They gave me a bid up front. The work was done promptly and they did not leave a mess to clean up. Very pleased with the experience.

Our A/C unit went out and I called Hobsons at about 11:00. They had a technician out the same day.....Zak didn't get here until 7:30 pm, but he was incredibly upbeat and personable. (He actually told us he might be working until midnight!) He got our unit back up and running. Glad to be a part of the Hobson's "frequent-flyer" program.

For this job I performed an evaluation. I diagnosed a failed compressor and found a leak in the evaporator coil. Gave estimates for a repair and recommended replacement. Today we showed up her complimentary plumbing evaluation. Upon arrival the water heater pilot was not lit. The homeowner had tried to relight it himself and was unable to. Last night he started the cooktop and the flame was yellow which indicated air was in the line. We went to the Attic, and with the water heater as normal. It lit up perfectly fine and had no struggles. Stayed for about 5 minutes to check to make sure the water heater was still in, and it was. Everything was working properly when we left. Installed attic tent with no issues.
Just blew in insulation, system not keeping up upstairs very well. Found return was not well sealed and thermostat is right under the attic, sealed up return and customer purchased an attic tent.
For this job I performed a Plumbing tune up for the residence. Inspected all fixtures checking for proper functioning. All fixtures are fully operational. 2 faucets had some issues, both were loose and would move when turning handle. Customer also has a tandum water heater set up. The unit on the right is not operational. There is a crack on the interior wall. Customer is not interested in getting it fixed, he is looking to possibly upgrade to a Tankless and have a whole home filtration/softener installed. Customer stated he will reach out when he's ready to move forward.
This lead has been reset for next Friday 10:00 to 12:00 for myself Joe and Rob
7/15/25 Performed all work described in estimate. Tested after repairs were made everything working properly. Need to schedule additional work for next Monday will be meeting diggers here to complete work. Also need electrician lead set for Monday as well wants some lugs taken care of as well.
Today we showed up for a complimentary plumbing estimate. The homeowner had purchased two 8-in lavatory sets, and just wanting them installed. We uninstalled the old ones and took them with us, installed the new 8 inch lab sets. We tested both faucet and made sure they were not leaking. Everything worked and drained properly.
