Came to job for customer needing light bulb pulled out so came and did that and will also be back fir plumbing and ac cust9emrs are very happy with us
On arrival systems running and cooling producing 18 degree deltas. Indoor units mostly clean and drain lines flowed when flushed. Neither system had water safeties or sediment traps and the older system had flex line running directly to gas valve in furnace. Explained why these code violations were important. Cust declined to fix at this time. Outdoor units passed all electrical testing but overamped on start up. Recommended soft start or compressor saver kits to address this and increase longevity of compressors. System cooling as I left.
Came out to give estimates on installing customer supplied faucet and garbage disposal. Explained to customer that underground sink had to be installed by counter top contractor. Customer declined work at this time. He has a quote from a Handy Man to do all work including sink install for $500.00
Customer looking at options on installing mini split to cool garage also adding more insulation over garage.
Sel lead for ac tech about mini split But gave quote to run three new circuits and add light in garage
On arrival upstairs system damper broken and not functioning. Manually affixed it open. Checked delta across unit and found a 7 degree delta. Found the evaporator coil frozen and the blower wrapped with door insulation. Removed insulation, taped air handler closed and drilled new screws/holes to better hold it. Advised customer to leave system off with fan on overnight and run it tomorrow, if evaporator coil ices back over to call us back.
Performed Recommended work Installed soft start kits on upstairs and downstairs units Re designed primary drain lines and Installed 2 drain saftey switches Systems LRAs from 135amps to 22amps on start up Systems left off at exit Goodleap required form signed
Arrived for AHC for Inverter Furnace system Filter fine Drains clear Blower and coil fine Installed IAQ200 germicidal system to eliminate all growth and pathogens Furnace components fine Cleaned condenser coil No error codes Delta is fine

Came out here to check outdoor unit needed a little of refrigerant
On arrival system running and cooling producing 17 degrees delta. Furnace in good condition, blower is dusty due to dust bypassing filter but otherwise in great shape. Recommended April aire filter upgrade to address this. Condenser passed all electrical testing but was overamping on start up. Recommended either a compressor saver kit or a soft start kit to address this. System running and cooling as I left.
Performed quality control inspection Inspected IAQ200 UV system and indoor components No issues with wiring or components System was off for a long duration with UV light on - homeowner will leave Fan on and let home air out Reccomended drain line reconfigure System left on auto at exit with fan on
Performed super tune up Washed condensor and tightened connections Delta 20 Filters were recently replaced Inspected heat exchanger Reccomendations - inducer motor - over amperage - pressure switch - ignitor/flame sensor - very high wear - blower motor - out of tolerance - blower clean - IAQ200 UV biogrowth - soft start - primary electrical control unit - condensor motor - physical high heat - wrong capacitor size for motor operation System left on original auto settings Reccomended comfort advisor Installed blower capacitor and condensor fan capacitor Installed IAQ200 UV Homeowner signed and submitted Goodleap documents - all submitted Home and budget protection plan added
Arrived for AHC filter ok Could not access drain lines as they’re in the opposite side of the system Plenum is leaking air into the attic and should be resealed 25 degrees of cooling instead of 20 Biological growth present in the supply plenum Blower cap is out of tolerance 13.5 out of 15 Blower is very dusty Furnace control board is a little hotter than normal and nearing failure Ignitor is very discolored due to heat stress and likely to fail next winter Lineset insulation missing in the attic and dripping onto the wood Condenser dual run cap is out of tolerance and the wrong size for the compressor Should be a 60 MFD and is a 55 testing at 50 System is low on refrigerant due to a leaking Schrader valve on the high side Will follow up with homeowner next week to determine what course Of action he wants to tak
