Arrived for evaluation Upon arrival system blower was on only Majority of smell was evacuated at arrival Disconnected dampers and tested system on cool, heat, heat + emergency heat Burning did not occur during tests Highest reccomendation - replace both dampers - replace zone board Blower motor has abnormal noise and it's very audible at unit/return System condition and history of system has major refrigerant leak from previous evaluations Current delta 13 cooling Due to overall condition of system comfort advisor has been reccomended Comfort advisor scheduled Monday 01/27/25 1:30-3.30

Came to job because customer could smell burning when heater is on and was really worried about it and apparently some text told them that it was an electrical problem and it's not an electrical problem all the electrical is fine no issues at all with the heat everything has the right voltage and everything has to be on the AC and heat side

Evaluation on 2012 carrier heat pump zone system obvious smell of burnt electrical in home. Opened air handler and checked all componenets pulled blower motor inspected motor and heat strips. The system is terribly corroded and has water damage some of the zoning Componenets are inaccessible due to limited attic access. Due to age and condition would strongly recommend system up grade. Customer is planning to sell the home in the next few months. Will follow up with customer tomorrow 10 to 12 PM

I was here for a heating tuneup. The heat strips are within intolerance. There was some bio growth on blower and walls of the air handler. Delta and refrigerant was within range capacitor within intolerance. recommended a duct cleaning and a microbial spray. Customer says he’ll call us to schedule a time to do it

The system heat strips were within intolerance. I did not change the filter because the filter was still clean I poured some bleach down the drain line evaporator had some biological growth on it blower was a little dirty, outdoor systems, capacitor within range and refrigerant within range all amperages within tolerance

Upon arrival customer stated heat would not work yesterday And took me to the indoor unit The unit was in heating and functioning I checked unit for fault codes as well as clean filters and system charge all were good Advised customer if this happens again to please take a video so there is something to go off of if the issue cannot be replicated when a tech is onsite

For this super tune-up I inspected the customers three furnaces and condensers, testing them both and heating and cooling modes. All three systems function flawlessly with no issues and all equipment was measuring within manufacturer's specs. One of the customers germicidal stick lights were out and no longer working. I recommend to the customer upgrading to an IAQ 200 air sanitizer UV system which he elected to go ahead and get installed. I installed that UV system and made sure it was working before I left. The customer's right now or having new flooring installed and have lived in the home for 8 years and have never had a duct cleaning, so I highly recommend them receiving a duct cleaning once all work is completed inside the home to remove any dirt and dust that has bypass the filters and settled inside the ducts.

On arrival all 3 systems running and heating. Garage furnace hit high limit and shut off but would not replicate issue once dirty filter replaced. Return plenums dusty, recommended duct cleaning and filter upgrade. Found beginning signs of biological growth in supply plenums, recommended iaq 200 uv system to kill on surfaces and in airflow. Recommended whole home surge protection to protect all electrical in home including HVAC system. Also recommended compressor saver kits to reduce wear on compressor on start up.

I was here for a heating tune up the blowers were clean. ducts need a duct cleaning Inducer motor amps within tolerance. I poured bleach down the drain line. Change to one of the filters. all safeties are working. Blower capacitor intolerance. Drain pan very rusty.
