On this job I inspected the cooling side of the system. The freon levels are on point. I changed the filter and washed the condensor. The system could benefit from duct cleaning.

Upon arrival system was off Turned system back on and had good refrigerant levels,cap was within tolerance and coils were clean Delta T was a 12 Spoke to customer and let him know system is cooling but to keep an eye on it and give us a call back if he sees anything else

For the super tune-up I inspected the furnace and condenser. For the most part everything was measuring with a manufacturer specs and running well, however the blower capacitor was out of tolerance by more than 5%, so I recommend replacing that before it fails. Additionally one of the blower Wheels was pretty dirty, making the blower work harder and putting more stress on it. I recommend replacing that blower capacitor, cleaning the blower wheel, a compressor saver for the condenser, as well as a UV system to kill biological growth and any other pathogens.

On arrival systems were running and cooling producing 18+ degree deltas. Indoor units had clean coils and drain lines but dirty blowers. Supply plenum for upstairs system had large spots of biological growth. Outdoor units passed all electrical testing but were overamping on start up. I recommended compressor saver kits to address this and to reduce wear and tear on the compressor. I recommended an April aire upgrade kit to prevent further dust bypass and I recommended iaq 200 uv systems to prevent further biological growth and improve air quality.

Arrived for Eval of upstairs system. Asked home owners if they wanted their down stairs to be looked at and they said yes. All components were working and in tolerance Recommended IAQ 200, 1000, Blower clean, Coil clean, panstrip for both units. Surge protection for whole house and membership. Relayed Information to customer and told them that their upstairs system was working. Customer wanted to think about recommendations.

Tech arrived at a tune-up/ IAQ estimate. Upon inspection, the capacitor was out of tolerance. The condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The refrigerant was within range. The filter was dirty. The blower area was dirty and there was growth present in the system. There was ductwork that was not sealed properly in the attic. Tape was applied to these areas. The Delta was within range. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He is interested in the IAQ 1000 Filter, 200 UVC System / Air Cleaner and Level 2 Duct Cleaning. He will speak with his wife and will call us back. He would like a follow up next week if we haven't heard from him by then. The system was functioning upon departure.

The refrigerant appeared to be overcharged and the TXV was not functioning. The blower area was dirty. The customer was provided with duct cleaning estimates upon request. The filter was relatively clean. The drain was clear and bleach was poured. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He decided to move forward with adding the membership. He would like to think about which #IAQ products he would like to install and would like a call back. The tech will follow up. The system was functioning upon departure.
