For this evaluation the customers stated that the humidity levels in the home were in the 70s. With my psychrometer I was measuring between 50-60% humidity. Outside I had a 9⁰ SC, 18⁰ SH when I gauged up and amp draws on both the compressor and fan are within normal parameters. I measured the return grilles, one measuring 20x24 and 12x12 meaning the system was only getting 3.46 tons of air and the system is a 4 ton. Additionally the customers had the blower set to on not auto, that with the fresh air intake on the system I believe was pulling in humid air from outside and bringing it into the home and circulating it I set up an appointment for Zak to come out on Monday the 19th for an airflow evaluation.
Customer was quoted 36k electric heat pump system customer was pre-approved follow up tomorrow.
