At the outdoor unit, capacitor was good. Running amps and in rush were good. Refrigerant levels were good. All connections tight. Washed out coil and system was cooling and running when I left.

for this job I did an evaluation. Indoor was running, outdoor was not. Cap was good. Unit not receiving high voltage, checked connections at breakers, everything tight. Reset breaker at the electrical and system came on and was cooling. Recommending an electrician look at the breaker/panel for further eval.

For this evaluation, the customer stated her system was having a hard time keeping up and had been running for over 14 hours a day. When I looked back on the Google nest, Thursday the 21st it had ran for 19 1/2 hours. I took a temperature Delta and the system was only producing a 3° split. I went outside and gauged up where I had a -2° sub, cool and an extremely high super heat, indicating that the system is low on refrigerant and there is a leak due to how the system was installed. I was unable to get the coil door off in order to leak search it so after speaking with my service manager, we went ahead and agreed to order a new coil under warranty and replace it once it comes in. I got the system charged up to a 6° sub cool in order to get the customer by until the new coil comes in.

8/30/25 reschedule due to rain

For this cooling tune up I inspected the customer's furnace, and condenser. For the most part all equipment was measuring within manufacturer specs and running well. Two areas of concern is one the compressor was pulling much higher amps than what it was rated for so I recommended that we install a hard start kit to the compressor as this will lower amp draws and keep it below the manufacturers specifications. Additionally I would recommend we install a whole home surge protector into the main electrical panel as this will protect all the electronics in the home from lightning strikes or power surges and the damage that can be caused from those.

8/30/25 Upon arrival, rain was coming down hard. I let homeowner I'd be happy to begin tuneup but if weather persisted I would not be able to do outdoor maintenance. He recommended rescheduling to another day, tune up rescheduled for 9/2. Homeowner not available until after 4:30. I offered to replace filter but homeowner had already done so.

For this evaluation the customer system was not cooling again, the furnace was blowing air however the condenser was not turning on. Initially when I showed up the customer had the system turned off at the thermostat and when I turned it back on everything started up and was cooling like it was supposed to. The system was showing Previous faults of "Open Fuse", "Short Cycling" and then after multiple times cycling the system on and off again "High Pressure Cut Off Trip" appeared. When I gauged up however my high side prerwas steady around 340 psi or 104⁰F, nowhere near high head pressure. The blower was set to the highest speed and the filter was also clean, additionally the condenser was not very dirty at all. The system had a 7⁰ subcool and a 14⁰ superheat. I poured 2 gallons of water down the primary drain line just to make sure that it wasn't a drain line issue or the float switch. Unfortunately I was unable to replicate the issue however I went ahead and bypassed the high pressure

For this evaluation, the customer system was not running at all. It started off in the attic and checked the drain line. However, the drain line was clear and then connected to the system via cool cloud and the system had a 04 locked rotor fault. At the condenser, the capacitor was measuring within manufacturer specifications. However, the hard start kit was completely dead. Replaced the hard start kit under warranty and the system kicked on and started cooling again. .
