Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. Indoor unit was running but not cooling. I diagnosed a failed auxiliary motor starter at the outdoor unit, and I also found out that the UV bulb in the indoor unit was in need of replacement. The filter was extremely dirty and in dire need of replacement. I shared my findings with the homeowner and expressed how not changing the filter routinely could cause issues like this to happen. I replaced both parts and the system began to cool, however I was unable to take accurate refrigerant readings without first replacing the filter. System was cooling when I left.

Tech Cody and Mark arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. System was not cooling upon arrival and the homeowner mentioned they had a power outage recently. We diagnosed a failed auxiliary motor starter potentially caused by the outage. We shared our findings with the homeowners and explained to them the benefits of a house panel surge protection, and compressor saver. They wantednto do the complete home solution, we installed the house panel surge protection and verified installation, installed compressor saver, and replaced the auxiliary motor starter. System was cooling when we left.

Arrived to no cool. Customer states that house is not maintaining temperature. Found unit to be low on charge and outdoor coil was very dirty. Cleaned off outdoor coil and recharged system with 14oz of r410a. Performed leak search and found the Schrader valves to be leaking. Replaced valves under P&L warranty. Recall on previous technician for not checking the charge after they performed repairs.
