They do a good job.

Prices for work is high. They try to up sell for things every time they come out. I know they have to make more and more money to stay in business, but it gets a little irritating.

The AC tech was knowledgeable, and did inform me of what needed to be done. I learned what might be done with my system to improve it, which is nice. But not for $108. The fan was dirty, so Im going to clean it. The capacitor is failing, so Im going to replace it. One of the drains was dangling, so Im going to tie it up. There are exposed low voltage lines that are exposed, that I will cover up. I guess I expected a slight tune up, but there wasn't really anything done to the system other than advice. I do appreciate it, but I most likely would not pay for the service again, based on cost.

Tech Cody and Mark arrived to customer's home and met Mr. Phil. He showed us inside to the thermostat and the access to the indoor unit. We started inside with replacing the filter and inspecting the blower wheel. The blower had minimal dust buildup and all the electrical control was in good condition. The evaporator coil was clean and the temperature delta T was 18 degrees. I poured a gallon of water into the drain and it went through with no issue. The unit had an IAQ 200 and both bulbs were not in need of replacement. Next we headed outside to the condenser coil, the electrical equipment was operating normally according to the data tag and the wiring was in good condition. We cleaned the leaves from the bottom and washed the coil out. We hooked up the guages and found the charge of the system to be good. The unit had a compressor saver installed.

I Located issue and performed temporary fix, whip from outlet to furnace has no ground, control board sending fault code for bad ground The temporary fix is is not the correct fix, new circuit for ground needs to be run Flue pipe is not up to code and is not performing correctly, going to eventually ruin the furnace, or allow combustion air leak.

Tech Cody arrived to customers home. I went to the indoor closet furnace and did a diagnostic of system startup. All the safeties functioned as they should and furnace started up with no issue at all. Inducer fan motor pulling point three amps was below the manufacturer specifications. Customer had air scrubber and UV light installed on system. I replaced the filter for the customer. Once I took a look into the attic and saw the insulation I noticed that it was very low and I notified the homeowner that they need to be getting some insulation soon.

I arrived and replaced the capicator on the left side of the houses outdoor unit. Customer did not answer door. Unit was running and heating when I left.

On arrival both systems were running and heating producing 20 degree deltas. The indoor units had clean blowers and coils and the drain lines flowed when flushed. Both outdoor units had weak capicators and one outdoor unit was overamping on start up. I added a capicator and compressor saver kit but need to return to add the other capicator. Please schedule me to return Thursday with the capicator.
