Improved Air Through Superior Service

Mike came to perform semi-annual service on our units. He noticed that dust was getting past the filter and recommended an improved filter compartment and filter. Now our air and ducts are cleaner.

Excellent service!!

Austin was on time, well mannered and knew exactly what he was doing. I have called many plumbers and never really liked any of them bc they would walk with no shoe cover or leave mess. Austin was respectful, he wore his shoe cover without being asked, and left no mess. He was quick and just nice. I will definitely recommend Austin!!

Good service and communication

I really like how they continue to give updates on arrival and make it easy to contact them about it by putting the phone link in the text. Blake arrived and diligently worked to diagnose the system and confirm. He communicated the issues to me very well. Sometimes service people can be abrupt or condescending or unwilling to fully explain. This wasn’t the case with Blame.

Preventive Maintenance

This week our son's house had a backup of the cindenser that leaked into his bedroom closet. Blake as part of our maintenance checked our condenser drain and found it mostly clogged. Blake saved us from a damaging backup by finding and clearing the blockage. Well done Blake!

Gave custo,er a quote for removing double oven to unplug e listing cook top. Installing new outlet under cooktop. Removing old gas cooktop. Installing new cooktop. They didn't like the number. Are going to explore other options. They were expecting $200. So not worth negotiating.

Arrived onsite customer had her condensate drain come out of slab in front of home going down into 3” hub drain at the cleanouts. Went ahead and cleared the drain with electric snake and also cleared leaves from top of drian also. Ran water through drain to clear out remaining debris. Tested after drain was cleared everything working properly,

After installing the condensor fan and new ecm control I found out this system has double disconnects due to some home remodeling. Other then this the system is online and cooling.

Arrived for eval Customer stated that the right side unit wasn’t keeping up. Ran test and the system was low on R22. The system is from 1996. Recommend doing a new coil and outdoor unit. Gave the customer the refurbish price and talked about a new unit Customer is busy for the next two weeks but will call us when she is ready to do a comfort advisor Also checked the other unit and was able to get a 20 degree delta

06/21/24 TS- informed customer that his 13 year old waterheater is well past its time on getting a fresh flush. I was fully willing to still flush the waterheater, but informed him about the T&P valve amongst other issues that can arise when you do maintenance on an old system that hasn't been up to date. Customer declined service work

For this cooling tune up we inspected both furnaces and condensers. The upstairs blower capacitor was out of tolerance by 50%, and both units were overamping and the upstairs condenser had high head pressure. Back in May another technician came out here and diagnosed the compressor as going into thermal lockout most likely because of age but also positioning of where the units are on the side of the house being exposed to the Sun. Both units are well over 10 years old and close to the end of their lifespan. We spoke to the customer about replacement and he would like to speak with a comfort advisor with an appointment set for Thursday the 20th.

This system could benifit from 10oz of freon 410a to help cool the house a little quicker. It also has biogrowth on the inside air handler next to the Evap coil and on the blower motor wires. Another thing it could use is a hard start kit to help the system start up easier. Currently the caps and contactors are in tolerance. The system is clean and ready for cooling.

For this super tune-up I inspected the furnace and condenser, all equipment was measuring within manufacturer's specs and running well. When I gauged up my superheat was high and my subcool was lower than expected indicating possible low refrigerant as well as a restricted TXV explain to the customer what I found and he stated he may replace later on.

Upon arrival system was turned off and customer stated that this morning the system was working then the condenser made a very loud noise and they turned it off During inspection discovered that compressor was getting a high inrush of amps and LRA was set to be 109 and was reading 129.9 Spoke to owner and got a compressor saver installed Left with system operating properly

Tech arrived at a membership service call. Upon inspection, the compressor was in thermal lockout and the drain was clogged. The filter was very dirty and improper. The outside system was hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The drain was unclogged and a treatment strip was added to help keep the drain system clean.
