Jake came to our home after a capacitor failed in less than a year. He checked the circuits and said all was well, but a whole-home surge protector could save all our devices. He didn't have one suitable and had to order it. Jake came back and quickly installed the surge protector without turning the electricity off. I appreciate that because I work from home. I appreciate Jake pointing out that current building code requires all new homes have whole-house surge protectors. We've had UPS backups destroyed by spikes in voltage.
AC capacitor went out -- again. Capacitor was replaced and electrician called to check electrical and determine reason capacitor didn't last 1 year. Electrician checked circuits, praised state of electrical box, and recommended whole-house surge protector which will be ordered and installed next week. Both technicians explained findings and got AC working quickly on extremely hot day.
Michael Martinez was professional, thorough and explained everything extremely well all along the way. Would highly recommend. His trainee Daniel A. was just as great.
Colby has been consistent, knowledgeable, and kind. Look forward to working with him in the future.
Jonathan found the problem and fixed it quickly. I appreciate the speedy service, especially as temperatures are dropping and the furnace doesn't work.

Couldn’t have asked for more! Colby made me feel confident from the start with the appearance of competence that he conveyed. He was courteous, friendly, helpful, and most of all, able to quickly evaluate, diagnose and fix my a/c.
Garrett was very knowledgeable and helpful resolving my issues.

7/11/25 We will install 2 customer supplied faucets in master bathroom. We will install one pop up assy at right side sink. Left lavatory finish is flaking off and drain will not seal to basin Unable to shut off water without city coming out. Customer will call the city and set up time and day to shut water off. We will then change stops and supplies under lavs. Customer will call when city can come out.
I have found and shown that the Tesla charger needs to be set to the correct breaker size in the app as to not trip
Arrived onsite customer had a disposer leaking at the bottom when arrived. Went ahead and replaced disposer and tested after installation everything working properly.
For this eval, I showed up and the coil was not frozen, let the system run for a couple of minutes The problem is that the main sewage line to the house is not flowing properly, it is clogged Scheduled plumber to come out and snake main drain line to house Thank you for choosing Comfort experts. Hope you have a great day.
For this job I performed a diagnostic on the Condensation drain coming off the unit. The rest of the house is draining properly, no issues on any fixtures except the condensation drain. The cause is cold water algae build up in the line causing the stoppage. I provided the customer with an estimate to clear the line. Customer asked to be scheduled for Monday.
For this evaluation customers upstairs run capacitor for compressor had failed once again for the third time in less than a year, the start kit was reading 218 MFD however the capacitor was only reading 16 MFD. The original capacitor before I replace it last time was a 50 microfarad however when I looked at the compressor it was calling for a 35 run capacitor. I replaced the 50 with a 35 and after doing so the system kicked on. Again tightened all the high voltage connections and the Spade connections on the capacitor to hopefully prevent the same issue from recurring.
7/3/25 9542603672 Alexa I will be returning on Wednesday the 9th to install their tesla wall mount charger I need about 4 feet of wire, and flex

Performed evaluation Upon arrival system was down Popped fuse from homeowner thermostat install Homeowner inquired of installing nest thermostat There are not enough wires from thermostat to communication board Estimate created for running wires from thermostat to system Performed basic repair Homeowner joined Home and budget protection plan System left on cool at exit
Today we showed up for a complimentary plumbing estimate. Upon arrival the main condensation drain had backed up causing the AC pan to over flood and come through the ceiling. Inside the Jack and Jill bathroom is where one condensation drain goes to, and the other condensation drain goes into the blue bathroom. Took apart both p-trap and Robinson tea and cleared out thoroughly, and tested both. All is draining well and no leaks. In the kitchen there is a instahot underneath the sink, it was leaking on the top of the unit itself so we replaced the fittings and after turning the unit back on it started to leak from the actual base of the unit, we could not see that leaking due to how much water was coming off the top. Recommendation for instant hot would be to replace it. I left a estimate to replace instant hot. Thank you for choosing comfort expert!
For this evaluation the upstairs system was not cooling, furnace is running but the outdoor unit was not. Going to open up the condenser the board was giving an l6 fault or Open start circuit lockout. When I measured the capacitor, the herm side was completely dead. The hard start capacitor was reading 216 MFD. I replaced the capacitor under warranty and system started running. I'm scheduling an electrician to come out to the customer's house for today 20 June because this is the second time we've replaced the customer's capacitor for the upstairs system in less than a year. All high voltage connections were tight however the customers panel is 35 years old and there are a number of breakers that are loose on the rack and the customer also stated that had a few electrical issues and their generator came on randomly on its own with even though they still had power.
Arrived onsite customer had a lavatory drain leaking in upstairs bathroom. Went ahead and ran cable through and cleared stoppage tested after repair was made everything working properly.
6/20/25 Came to job to look at panel and see if there was any issues electrical wise, causing the capacitor to go out multiple times pulled panel cover off and panel had everything needed grounding, wise and code wise Except for a surge protector so talk to them about that and we’ll be back on Monday to install it
