Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowner. I started inside, the coil was clean, the blower was clean, the drain line was clear, the heat strips were operating within manufacturer range, and the filter was clean and not in need of changing. Outside the system was properly charged with a super heat of 6 and a subcool of 5. The compressor and fan motor were both operating within manufacturer range, the auxiliary motor starter was within tolerance and the primary motor starter was in good condition. I shared my findingsnwith the homeowner and informed them of the upcoming changes to the HVAC industry.
Techs Mark D and Hunter G arrived for a free second opinion. We inspected system and gave multiple different estimates to improve the efficiency of system. The unit was a 11 year old Lennox straight electric system. We spoke to customer about upgrading to a heat pump. Estimates are being sent to email

Techs Cody and Mark arrived to customer's home. Indoors we swapped out the filter, inspected the coil and blower both were clean, tested the heat strips and they were functioning properly. Outside the auxiliary motor starter was weak and in need of replacement, we swapped it out under P&L warranty. After all the electrical equipment was operating normally. We washed a waxed the unit and checked the refrigerant circuit, the unit was properly charged.
The main panel looks pretty good she did not have a surge protector did have GFC eyes though her plugs were all wired correctly connections were tight I talked to her about the surgery protector very interested
Low voltage short caused system to not turn on. Found popped 3 amp fuse. Replaced the fuse and system turned on in cooling. Performed function check and started the system up 3 times. Could not find the reason the fuse popped.
Amana heat pump with air handler installed in 2018. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. All amp draws on the motors are within range. Refrigerant levels are within range. Surge protection, UV system, and a compressor saver have all been installed. Recommend adding R19 insulation in the attic to help with the energy consumption.
Tech Cody and Mark arrived to pur customer's home. We met Mrs. Weber and she showed us inside to the thermostat and indoor unit access. When turning the system on we noticed that the thermostat would not adjust the set point lower then the current point. The homeowner expressed interest in a new Thermostat. We started upstairs and immediately found that the blower wheel and coil were dirty and in need of cleaning. We noticed oil buildup on the copper and conducted a leak search, we found a leak next to corrosion. The heat strips functioned properly and the supply plenum had some dust buildup. Outside we hooked up the guages and found the system to be low on refrigerant with a Subcool of 1. We then tested the electrical equipment and found everything to be operating properly according to the manufacturer data tag. Lastly we washed out the coil and then coated the unit with wax. We showed Mrs. Weber our findings and recommended that she talk to a comfort advisor before making any decisio
