Hobson AC/Comfort Experts service exceeded my expectations and believe me with Hobson being my last name we are our biggest critics. Brian, Brady, Joe, Jose, Daniel and Jonathan all showed up and within 3 hours had the new Generac generator set, hooked up and professionally installed. I could not be any more pleased. Wrote estimate to repair 2 small pvc lines already dug up. Customer said he will be able to fix himself for much cheaper.
Replaced Blower motor, ran reset on system. System came on in cool mode and is cooling home
2014 Payne airhandler Checked and tightened all electrical connections Changed Customer provided filter Drain was clear and draining Blower motor and wheel has heavy amount of biological growth Evaporator coil has heavy amount of biological growth Wires have heavy amount of biological growth as well 2014 Payne straight electric Checked and tightened all electrical connections Dual run capacitor was within manufacture range Primary electrical unit was acceptable Refrigerant levels were low Washed Condenser coil from inside out Cleared debris out of unit Waxed top of unit Customer stated system runs all the time and they're electric bills are high. Talked with customer about Refrigerant levels and how low Refrigerant levels will cause system to run much longer and increase electrical bills. Recommend CA to talk with customer about upgrading system to more efficient system.
Performed Rec Work and evaluation on main Lennox system. Lennox system was throwing high pressure lockout codes on Heatpump and Blower failure code on furnace. Furnace Blower was getting power but was not able to function causing outdoor to build high pressure and shut off. Customer paid for lennox replacement oem Blower motor Lennox Oem Blower motor needs to be ordered
Upon arrival Customer stated outdoor was not running at all. Found heatpump had locked rotor code, Dual run cap was within range. Found compressor saver had failed causing compressor to lock up
System is still cooling more than is should, does not turn off after reaching setpoint. Control board is not reading temp from thermistor cause system to continuously run New control board for indoor needs to be ordered Indoor Model FTX18BXVJU Serial K000756 Outdoor Model RX18BXVJU Serial K001943
Installed indoor thermistor and new remote for mini split. Problem seems to have improved. Told customer to keep an eye on it and see if it improves further. If problem persists the board may need to be replaced.

Tech Cody arrived to customers home, I met Karen and she guided me inside to the thermostat and the access to the indoor unit. I started the tune-up at the indoor unit, upon inspection I found the indoor coil to be clean with very minimal signs of corrosion, the blower wheel was clean, and when put on emergency heat the heat strips or pulling proper amperage according to manufacturer. I swapped out the filters, and then headed outside to start the tune up for the outdoor unit. I first washed the unit down, and then took my electrical readings of the components. There was no hard start kit installed and this was reflected with a high in Rush amp test. The running amps test for the compressor and fan motor both came back well below the manufacturer specifications according to the data tag. I then after the fins had dried hooked up my gauges and took a reading of the refrigerant charge.
