Arrived onsite the water heater was lit already but set at pilot. Turned dial to on and burner fired up. Upon inspection noticed the vent 90’s on top of water heater were installed upside down with flow arrow pointing down to water heater. Arrow on vent fittings need to be pointing up in direction of exhaust flow. Home is 1 year old customer will contact home builder to see if they will fix issue first. If not she will call us to correct issue.

Techa arrived at a service call on the tech. Upon inspection, the thermostat was set up properly for HP in heat but needed adjustment for cooling as well. Tech arrived at a service call. Upon arrival, the customer mentioned that her electricity bills were very high. Upon inspection, the heat pump was not working. The outside system was not getting a call for heat. The thermostat was evaluated and was not set up for a heat pump. The system was reprogrammed and the outside system came on. The capacitor was wired poorly and both run capacitors were out of tolerance. The indoor system was very dirty with growth present. The customer was informed of recommendations today. She decided to move forward with replacing the outside capacitors and wiring. These items were installed, tested and functioning. She also decided to schedule a Level 2 Duct Cleaning. Install was contacted and the cleaning is scheduled for Thursday morning. Please inform customer. The system was functioning upon departure.

Tech arrived at a Free 1lb R410A tuneup. Upon inspection the capacitor was far out of tolerance. The condenser fan motor was pulling high amperage. The compressor was pulling high amperage. The refrigerant was low. The condenser coils were hosed off to assist with air flow across the coils. The filter was dirty and was replaced. The system and ductwork was dirty. The Delta was low. The drain was clear and vinegar was poured. The customer was informed of recommendations today. Due to age, condition and price of repairs it is recommended that the customer speak with a Comfort Advisor about upgrading to something more reliable with warranties behind it. The customer decided to add refrigerant and was informed of the disadvantages about adding refrigerant without repairing the leak. The customer also decided to replace the duel run capacitor and add a treatment strip. The customer decided to add a Cooper Membership in order to benefit from the discounts. The system was functioning upo
