New Install

We had to have a new system put in and they did an outstanding job. They came back on a call in because we were worried it wasn't cooling correctly. They checked everything and explained how the newer high efficiency systems worked. No muss no fuss.

Upon arrival customer stated that the system would not do anything during evaluation found that the thermostat was set to cool with the fan on while the air handler did nothing along with the heat pump found that the transformer had failed receiving 240 volts but was not stepping it down in 24 replace transformer under warranty reset system as system was running notice the fuse would pop isolated the short to the heat pump found that the solenoid wires to the compressor had melted to the compressor along with the plugs for the for the windings and the solenoid compressor got extremely hot melted wires causing it to pop the fuse unable to test compressor or get it to run condenser is DOA need to order new Amana two-stage condenser

Arrived to no cool. Customer had a very restrictive air filter in place that was causing the system to freeze up and go out in low pressure. Advised customer to get a new filter that allowed more airflow through.

Super tune up performed today on a two year old ducane heat pump. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Blower motor and evaporator coil are clean. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Reversing valve and defrost control board are working properly. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed.

Main house inspection found electrical service mast and meter not secured properly and pulling away from house. Main panel located in laundry room with water heater directly in front of panel. Very loose main lug terminals found and tightened. Secondary service has direct burial service conductors laying on ground crossing walkway and driveway. Aluminum conductors used without anti-ox paste. No conduit to auxiliary panel. Secondary panel does not have panel grounded properly. Found burned neutral conductors in attic in splice. Installed 3 jct box's in attic for splices.

Today we showed up for a plumbing evaluation. Upon a rival the homeowner had pulled the powder bath toilet, and ran a snake due to the line clogging up. When she said the toilet back there was no flange to attach on to. It was just a 4-in pipe. We set a new toilet flange glued, and anchored to the ground. We set a new wax ring along with new bolts. Hook the toilet back up and test it with toilet paper. Everything flushed well and there were no leaks. Thank you for choosing comfort experts!

Cooling tune up performed today on an Amana down flow gas furnace with a straight cool condenser installed in 2021. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Refrigerant levels are in range. All amp draws are in spec. Customer states that the house has trouble cooling. Technician found that the system is running as it should however there are multiple air leaks in the ducting under the home. Customer does not want to repair duct leaks at this time.

Font technicians arrival technician found that the system didn't have a float switch technician is going to recommend this to prevent any floods in case any of the drains get clogged in the future. Tech also recommends a UV lamp to prevent any growth.
